The new roof roller consists of several components: The washing segment which is split in two parts, the holder-segment and the washing segment. The washing segments are specially fixed to the base component (disc) ensuring that the washing segments are highly flexible in either rotation directions. This virtually eliminates damage to rear wipers, windshields and Mercedes-‘stars’ particularly in problematic hydraulic car washes.

Furthermore, the noise level is considerably reduced by the use of the soft textile ‘Microvel® Premium’. The foamed plastics which are used to partition the single base components (discs) are also worth mentioning because they absorb only minimal amounts of water (4% of volume) and therefore the total weight of the roof roller remains extremely stable throughout its life.
